Tune In, Sing Out, and Let Go with Lana

These are a few of my favourite things …

Saturday, April 15th begins my final week of teaching regular public classes in Toronto for quite some time. A combination of touring mantra music, working in theatre, and having a fiancee in Ohio, makes for a year with very little time in Toronto!

I began teaching at 889 in 2010. I had completed my Yin Yoga training in the fall of 2009 and 889 quickly became my “Yin Yoga Home”. The Wednesday night Yin class has been one of the most consistent and beloved classes in my 7 years of teaching.

Join me for my farewell Tune In + Sing Into Spring Event

From 2:30 – 4:30pm on April 15th, I will be leading a Yin Yoga practice with live music that slowly moves into kirtan. I will sing to you, and then you get to sing WITH me!

The Yin practice will target the liver and gallbladder meridians, which help us to feel balanced as we transition into Spring. As you sit in stillness, Chris Gartner will be providing ambient soundscape. Chris is a Juno-nominated producer, bass player, and composer. He is also the producer of my albums – you can watch how beautiful he plays HERE.

I promise to serenade you in savasana, and as you come back to sit, you will have the opportunity to chant. We will sing some mantras that speak to letting go, and to the strength and fullness we possess within. You are also welcome to simply listen.

I have so much love and gratitude for the community at 889 and will miss being in the space every week! I will visit when I can.

You can also join my seasonal newsletter list through my site.

Much love.
