All guests practicing in studio must be at least 16 years of age. Those between the ages of 16 and 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to attend classes at 889.
We are a mobile-conscious environment. Our environment is intended to be a place of peace and calm. Once you have passed through the 889 Shop you have entered into our quiet zone. Classes are taking place at all times around you. Kindly respect these sessions in progress. Please turn off or silence your mobile device (including turning vibrate mode off) when you enter 889.
Be informed: the role of the teacher is to guide and assist students. This may not include demonstrating all postures. Please select a class that is suitable for you and communicate all injuries, healing and pregnancy details to your teacher before class.
With the use of the site, you may be asked to provide certain information to us. At 889 Yonge Inc., we know that you care how information about you is used and shared. We appreciate your trust that we will care for your information sensibly. 889 Yonge Inc. is the keeper of the information collected on the site and your information collected here will not be distributed to third parties or business affiliates without your prior consent.
In addition, on our health intake forms, you will see an option to stay informed via email communication from us regarding new products, promotions and other 889 Yonge Inc. related news. If you wish to receive these email communications, please indicate that by checking the box provided. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time using a link provided in each email message or simply by contacting us and expressing this desire.
Missed Class Fee
The missed class fee is non-refundable. All classes that are booked using our online system and/or 889 App may be cancelled using our online system and/or 889 App. If you are past the cancellation window, the online system will show ‘late cancel’ as the option at which time you will be charged for your missed class as per above. There are no refunds for any payments made so please choose your classes carefully. If you make a purchase in order to make your reservation and subsequently cancel before the 3 hour cut-off, your purchase will remain on your account for future use. Please note that any spot in a class booked or cancelled after 3 hours prior to class start time will be charged as follows:
889 Members & 40 Day Welcome Package Holders – $15 +HST will be charged to your card on file.
5 Class Pack holders – a class will be deducted from your package.
Drop-in Class – you will forfeit the class.
889 holds time with the highest integrity. We are committed to starting and ending classes on time. Studio doors close precisely at class start time. Late entry is not permitted. This policy honours safety and peace in the studio. Please use the clocks in our space as your source of time.
40-Day Welcome Experience
All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable, no exceptions
Memberships including the 40-Day Welcome offer cannot be carried over or extended. The 40-Day Welcome Experience has an expiry of 40 days from the date of the first class attended. There are no holds on the 40-Day Welcome Experience package once the offer has been activated.

Monthly Auto-Renew memberships will be automatically billed to your credit card each month until you cancel.* There are no holds or extensions permitted with this membership package. Should you need to cancel, please send your request at least 1 week in advance of your billing date. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will terminate your membership at the end of your current paid month. Any request received after your billing date will be processed the following month. You will receive an email confirmation from us confirming the termination. You may cancel your membership anytime, however within the first 6 months, there will be a $25 +HST cancellation fee. After the 6th month mark, there is no cancellation fee. Any payments not received within 20 days of billing will result in suspension of membership until payment is received.

12 + 6 Month Upfront Memberships
12 Month + 6 Month Memberships, paid upfront, are non-refundable and non-transferable. The 6 month membership allows for one hold, one time only, for up to 30 days. The 12 month membership, allows two holds for up to 30 days each time. These memberships activate on the date of purchase and expire either 6 or 12 months from that date.
Auto-Renew 5 Class Pack Membership
Auto-Renew 5 Class Packages are automatically billed to your credit card when your 5-class package runs out. You may cancel this membership after 2 cycles without a cancellation fee, otherwise a payment of $25+HST is required. Upon cancellation the remaining classes on your package will still stay on your account.* Email us at email@example.com if you would like to terminate your Auto-Renew 5 Class Pack.

All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. To hold a reservation for a private session, we require a valid credit card number with an expiration date. If you should need to cancel your appointment we ask that you do so 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. If you are unable to notify us within this cancellation period, or do not show, you will be charged in full for your missed service. Please call 416-925-7206 to cancel.
Events & Programs
All purchases are non-refundable.
Events + Programs may be:
- Transferred (in their entirety) to another individual for the same event. Transfers must be made in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org up to 72 hours prior to the start of the event/program. Transfer requests received after this time will be not be accepted and you will be charged in full for the event/program.
- Cancelled for a studio credit if you notify us in writing to email@example.com at least 72 hours before the start of the program. Cancellation requests received after this time will not be accepted and you will be charged in full.
The 889 Shop
889 Return Policy
We will happily exchange or provide store credit on regular-priced, unopened (hangtags intact), unworn, unwashed merchandise within 14 days of purchase. 889 Yonge Inc. reserves the right to deny an exchange if the item being returned is in any way damaged or opened. Customers must retain the original receipt. Store credit may be left on your account or given on a gift card. Any credit given on a gift card is considered cash. Lost gift cards are lost cash. We do not honour them on file.
All Food, Juice, Tea, Skincare, Bodycare, Lotion, Sunscreen, Shampoo, Deodorant, Nail Polish, Make-Up, Earrings, Hair ties, Intimates (including sports bras), and mats are FINAL SALE. No exchanges or returns will be accepted on these items at any time. Mats may only be exchanged if they are in their original plastic wrap.
Sale items cannot be exchanged or returned.
Gift Return & Exchange
You may exchange or receive store credit for an 889 gift within 14 days of purchase accompanied by a gift receipt.
Online Return Policy
The request for an exchange or store credit for an online order must be communicated via email, to firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days of receiving the order. Your exchange or store credit will be processed within 72 hours. Online purchases may also be exchanged or store credited in person at 889. Otherwise, the item(s) must be mailed back to the studio at the customer’s expense. All shipping and duty charges are non-refundable and you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping and duty costs for any items returned by mail.
