Chakra Flow

Of all great things that came along with the new season, being back on the regular schedule at 889 to teach Chakra Flow has been one of my favourites. 

I am delighted to share with this bright community of yogis, a practice that nourishes my soul – a program I have designed and use frequently as a guideline for my own self-development studies. 

This 8 week Chakra Flow series explores the 7 main energy centres of the body, helping us stay inspired and keep our ives on track. How? By methodically checking in and reflecting upon different aspects of ourselves (represented by the chakras), we have an opportunity to notice if we are living according to our truth. From there, we can make the necessary changes needed to enjoy our most purposeful existence.

Modern living comes with lots of distractions and many of us experience a feeling of disconnection every now and again. this program is a toolbox for self-inquiry and aims to help us re-center, shedding light into our most authentic selves.

 

Working with the subtle body is a playground for creativity to run freely. Possibilities are endless and the discoveries are powerfully insightful. 

In this uplifting class we make meaning of the basic elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Sound, Light, Ether). We use essential oils to help connect to the energy centres, tap into their psychological qualities, move through creative Vinyasas and take time to reflect in Restorative poses. We finish with breathing techniques and practical tips on how to stay balanced and connected to what matters most – our deepest truth. 

 

Right in the middle of the week, this Wednesday lunchtime class (12:30 – 1:30pm) is a ritual of self-care, in which we align mind, body and soul.
