Yoga Tune Up At Home – Take Two
Stop, Drop and Roll with Adam Bolton – part two
This is the second part in the series of Adam Bolton’s Yoga Tune Up Greatest Hits. In his first take home practice video, he worked our traps and now we’re getting into the lower back.
The QLs, or the quadratus lumborum, is the deepest abdominal muscle. It’s commonly referred to as a back muscle and contributes to stabilization and movement of the spine and the pelvis.
We are continuing to address the tension and damage that long periods of sitting may cause. This a great exercise to do in conjunction with Adam’s blog on traps. If you experience lower back tension or pain this Yoga Tune Up exercise can help. This is another exercise that will help counteract long periods of sitting. Tune up where and when you need it. You can get your very own set of Yoga Tune Up balls in The 889 Shop anytime. Be sure to share your experience with us by tagging us on Facebook and Instagram.
Follow along with Adam in the video below and start to incorporate this practice into your everyday routine. We have created this QL Tune-up Download for you to keep handy whenever you get the urge to stop, drop and roll it out.
