This class will help you to become more flexible not only with your physical body but with your nervous system. Drawing from the field of somatics which explores the connection between sensations, movement and emotions and the practice of yoga, meaning union, each class is an invitation to connect deeply with yourself. We begin with a mindful check-in followed by intentional movement, breath work, meditation and rest. Each posture is an invitation to explore not perform. There is nothing to perfect – simply notice and honor what arises. This class is well suited for those experiencing stress, anxiety or overwhelm. You’ll leave with practical tools to bring about balance and ease.
