Try Yin Yoga at 889!
When I first starting practicing yogasana, I attended power yoga and other fast-paced classes. However, when I discovered the yin practice, which was introduced to me by my now husband Leo Hauer, this became my passion. Slowing down and holding the postures for 3-5 minutes allows us to develop our subjective awareness of how our body moves and what its limitations are. We discover the particulars of the body’s movement, the differences between the two sides and how differently one body moves from another. I offer students variations and support (props) to allow them to do the posture without straining. Everyone can do yoga, not everyone moves the same way.
Join me on Thursdays from 5:45-7:00pm at Yonge Street for a deep and meditative Yin Yoga practice.
Teaching at 889 Yonge since its inception has been a blessing! I am grateful to be a part of Christine & Emily’s vision for 889 and have the opportunity to converse and practice with such wonderful clientele. Merry Christmas to all.
God bless you,
Jennifer Fazari-Hauer

Hi! I am a former student of Leo Hauer. Actually he was my elementary school teacher in 1999 at Kingsview village in etobicoke. I have been looking for him for a while. Several years ago I knew he was a yoga instructor in Toronto but now I can’t seem to find him. I really want to get in contact with him. Any idea where he is now? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
