Kim McBean, E-RYT 500, YACEP, is a deeply committed educator with a passion for Pilates, yoga, and somatic movement. With 18 years of educational and practical experience in movement and therapeutics. Kim nurtures a compassionate and trauma-informed approach to her teaching to promote self-inquiry and embodiment. Her intention is to empower others with tools and techniques that support mindful, bodily presence as a means to grow and transform.
Kim is trained in mat, and currently reformer Pilates at Mindful Movement Centre, Interdisciplinary yoga at The Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica, and the Octopus Garden Yoga Centre in Toronto. She has studied Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater, Trauma-Informed Yoga with Sarah Kinsley and Yoga Biomechanics with Jules Mitchell. She continues to study and practice various movement modalities, with her most valued and cherished mentors.
