Blythe began practicing yoga in 2008 while living in Vancouver, and since then she has completed over 500 hours of teacher training in yoga and Pilates. She has trained in hatha yoga through Sivananda in Kerala, India, yin through Yyoga in Vancouver, restorative through Octopus Garden, and Pilates through Mindful Movement Centre, both in Toronto. She has completed further trainings with master teachers that have also enhanced and inspired her teaching.
When Blythe first came to yoga, it helped her slow down her mind and connect with her body and breath. Years later, yoga continues to remind her of the importance of self-care, a value she hopes to promote in her teaching.
In Pilates, Blythe weaves together movements that increase connection throughout the body while focusing on alignment and breath. The precision of this practice will leave you feeling strong and accomplished.
Blythe continues to study and practice both yoga and pilates, in order to keep her classes inspired and fresh.
