The Meditation

Meditation is a way in, an opening that offers an opportunity to belong to yourself just as you are–nothing left out. The Meditation invites compassionate curiosity about your inner experience through various guided meditation techniques, somatic practices, written prompts and thematic inquiry. The practices hone your ability to self-soothe, facilitate deep healing and teach you to tend wisely to thoughts and emotions.

No previous meditation experience is necessary, beginners are encouraged to attend. You are encouraged to bring a journal and pen for written reflections. You may sit in a chair, on the ground or lie down for meditation. Please bring a mat if you wish to lie down. This class is rooted in the insight meditation tradition and includes secular teachings. The practices are trauma-informed.
