Breath of Joy
Learn the simple and effective breathing exercise, Breath of Joy, with 889 Co-Founder Christine Russell! This exercise is perfect for boosting energy first thing in the morning. Breath of Joy can also be practiced when you are feeling down or sluggish and acts as a great pick-me-up throughout the day.
This exercise increases oxygen levels in the bloodstream and stimulates the sympathetic nervous system. A forceful exhalation will lightly detoxify the body and releases tension.
This practice will help to enhance your mood, calm and focus your mind, and will energize your entire system.
