Hi and welcome! My name is Michelle Uy and I teach at both 889 Yonge and 889 Four Seasons locations.  I wanted to quickly give you a synopsis of the classes I teach, and what you can expect when you drop into my classes.

Let’s start with Yoga Clinic.  I am so excited to teach Yoga Clinic on Monday nights at 6pm this fall.  The premise is simple: you come with what you want to work on and we’ll do it!  Class sizes are small, and I welcome any thoughts or questions throughout the class.  Students are of all levels, but this class is especially helpful for those students who eventually want to drop into Level 1 flow classes.

….which leads to my Level 1 Flow class on Saturdays at noon!  The vibe is relaxed, you’ve enjoyed a wonderfully, slow Saturday morning and now you’re ready to move and sweat a little.  The class is ever changing and we move to a moderate pace.  I like to focus on breath and alignment, but most importantly, I want you to feel good and feel like you’ve let go of your week so you can truly enjoy your weekend!

I’ve been teaching at the Four Seasons for almost a year now, and all I have to say is what a beautiful room to practice in with a spectacular view!  We start with a 5-minute warm-up, and then move into our flow practice, and end with a juicy restorative pose or two, before I send you off to a sweet savasana. This class is all levels, so I teach to who is in the room.  See you on Thursdays at 6pm!
