Yoga Festival Toronto August 20-22

Yoga Festival Toronto
Toronto's most community focussed yoga event

This weekend I will be spending as much time as I can at the Yoga Festival, to be held at the National Ballet School on Jarvis.  It’s such a great grass roots yoga festival, a far cry from the giant corporate yoga conferences that are all over the States.  As a relative newbie in town I am looking forward to connecting with lots of inspired and inspiring people from all over the city.  I still have to teach two classes on Saturday, oh, and completely pack my house for my move next weekend … but, the yoga festival won’t wait!

See you at the following classes, meditaitons, keynotes, lectures and workshops!

  • Friday 8:00 – 10:ooam – Susan Richardson “Connecting to earth, grounding the femurs”
  • Saturday7:00 – 7:45am – Matthew Remski “Ayurvedic contemplation of the elements”
  • Saturday 1:45 – 3:45 – Pat Linfoot “Themes and Sequences”
  • Saturday 4:00 – 6:00 – Keynote Speech with Matthew Remski and Scott Petrie (889 teachers no less! Founders of the festival! Hooray!)
  • Sunday 8:00 – 10:00 – David Robson “Philosophy of Vinyasa”
  • Sunday 10;30 – 12:30 – Dana and Jenna “Essential yoga for women’s health”

I will be on the 889 table most of Sunday.  Stop by and say hi and chat all things yoga with us!     Free passes for yoga and information about all our great upcoming events, workshops and retreats.

Om Shantih!
