A Letter of Love
To our Beloved 889 Community,
It is with immense gratitude, acknowledgement, pride and LOVE that we share this news!
It has been one of the greatest privileges of our lives together to envision, create, build and grow the 889 community and be in service for eleven years.
889 has officially been sold and passed into the new and loving hands of Signy Gissurardottir. Signy has been an invaluable Manager on our team for over two years. She will carry the 889 torch forward as the leader and the new owner of the 889 Community.
We are touched, blessed and grateful for Signy, and her stewardship in carrying the energy of this beloved community forward. We chose Signy, specifically, for her deep love of 889, alignment with our vision and for her business savvy. She is of the same age that we were when we began this journey and she is as enthusiastic and as committed as we were when we began.
When we set out on this journey in 2006 we thought we were building a yoga and wellness studio, but what has emerged is a family, an extended intentional healing community, an exquisite line of energy woven into the fabric of so many souls. We are deeply thankful for the commitment and love of our leaders, our team, our teachers; past and present.
Thank you to our parents and to our husbands for your unwavering support since the beginning. Thank you – each of you – for believing in us, and serving our community deeply from your hearts. We will treasure our connection, always. To our customers, we honour your commitment to taking care of yourself and raising the vibration within yourself and sharing it with the world.
The blessings which have emerged are innumerable. We are grateful and feel privileged for everything we have given and received.
Please join us in welcoming Signy as owner and the new leader of our beloved community and share in this blessing.
We will see you at our beloved 889 in class as teachers and students.
889, you run deep within the fibre of our beings, and we promise to continue to love and nurture you with our fullest hearts, always.
