Kim McBean

Kim McBean brings over 20 years of teaching experience, blending expertise in Yoga, Pilates, and Somatics with a compassionate, trauma-informed approach. Known for her skillful and grounded presence, she creates classes that are therapeutic, accessible, and thoughtfully challenging. Through movement, Kim encourages self-inquiry, embodiment, and resilience, guiding students toward greater awareness and well-being.


Her extensive training includes studies at The Nosara Yoga Institute and Octopus Garden Yoga Centre, as well as specialized training in Restorative Yoga with Judith Hanson Lasater, Trauma-Informed Yoga with Sarah Kinsley, and Yoga Biomechanics with Jules Mitchell. She has also trained in mat and reformer Pilates at Mindful Movement Centre, and continues to deepen her lifelong study of Somatics.
