I came to practice mostly trying to heal from running injuries. The physicality of practice really excited me, but I was surprised at how affecting it was mentally. I started to feel less reactive and more able to really feel my body; to be receptive to what I was experiencing. I have been on a healing journey since, slowly growing and learning about myself and I am so grateful for the opportunity to facilitate a space in which to dive deeper into practice and really listen.
My style is based in Kula Flow, which is a breath-centred vinyasa practice marked by intentional, ‘sensibly creative’ sequencing and intelligent adjustments. I also teach pilates and functional movement. My appreciation for my teachers Schuyler Grant, Nikki Vilella and Kate Gillespie cannot be understated.
